It is Golden Week, and on Tuesday we rode the train to Chichibu. First we rode on a steam locomotive pulled train. We rode about 20 minutes to the end of the line, where they turn the locomotive around on a turntable. We enjoyed that so much that we rode it back too (rather than taking the conventional train). After that, we went to a flower garden, “shiba zakura” is is called, but the flowers weren’t cherry blossoms. It was very pretty. After that it started raining. We took a train back to Ikebukuro, then Kayo took Noah and Sarah to Omiya, and went back to Kichijoji.
